Our new client Chris sent me this amazing email - which as you can imagine made my day! This is why we do what we do at The Money Gym.

“Hi Nicola, I wrote an extended piece, feel free to do what you will with it. I have enclosed this just so you have more information. You can pick and choose or use what you have written I don’t mind either way. Please check out the Blog at

http://www.chrisogle.typepad.com/ for much more flesh on the bone of the first 10/11 days or so with The Money Gym.

The Beginning

I attended the 2nd National VA Conference held at Milton Keynes on Saturday 19th April 2008.

I was there as a sponsor, 1 of 3 men in the room amongst 80 self motivated women. Our sponsorship was to promote the burgeoning relationship between the host of the VA Conference (Carmen MacDougall) and and IPS with our i-Tr@der business platform. i-Tr@der enables small businesses to run their entire business, accounts, document filing, email, contact management etc. within one integrated system all through a simple web browser. During the day Nicola Cairncross presented a one hour slot on the money gym.

Nicola explained (in a hurry - she only had one hour) the basics of the four wealth highways. I realised I was in only one and not performing well in that either. After Nicola had finished I spoke with her briefly, gave her my card and asked her to get in touch as I wanted to meet with her to discuss how I could perhaps sort things. She replied to my email that she did not do one-on-one wealth coaching but I was welcome to come along on the 26th to the ‘Lets Talk Money’ day in London.

I was in Hungary / Budapest at the time, but signed up immediately and then attended on the following Saturday.

“MANY MANY thanks for all your support, head is spinning with so much to assimilate from Saturday…..My gut feel so far with you two is that you're on a journey yourselves and you want to help as many people as you can 'raise their awareness/ambitions & conquer their fear' & take that journey with you - you care!

I recognise that passion, it also emanates from Andy Shaw, that passion is what will enable that you succeed. Whilst I recognise that some will maybe say 'they're only doing this to make money themselves' those that make the effort to engage with you receive such a wealth of understanding, encouragement and support which belies that dismissive statement & gives them the courage & support to proceed on their passage to where they want to be!!

Those that recognise that YES you are in BUSINESS & therefore the services you provide have to fund that business, but that your overriding PASSION is to help people develop a path to enable them to DETERMINE & ACHIEVE their own goals - in fact, recognise that goals have to be set to enable them to achieve anything!! – (they) understand there is a cost to bear for the fast-track to the assistance they need............I have just started my journey with you - make sure it's a 'roller coaster” ride !! Take care, Jean”

""Hi Nicola, Just wanted to say a big thank you for putting me in touch with X. He's come up with an ace plan of action and if I can pull it off, then I can get the house done up and remortgaged at a higher value, then reinvest the money. Brilliant or what? That one contact has saved me losing over £100K, and will potentially make me 10 times that . (Howzat for anyone who says the Money Gym Platinum Club membership fee is too expensive?) So much for the !!&*$% advice I've been given by so-called mortgage 'experts' to date! It takes someone who knows what they are doing and thinks outside the box. Thanks so much"

UPDATE: "Hi Philly, I just wanted to say a big thank you. The past few months have been utterly utterly amazing. I'm so grateful to you and everyone else at The Money Gym (Platinum). I came in with high expectations - but these have been more than exceeded. I never dreamed that I would achieve so much so fast . I think that every week - then achieve even more in the week that follows. I couldn't have done it without you. Thanks once again"

"I’ve just completed 12 months mentoring on The Money Gym as I’d class myself as a serious businesswoman and entrepreneur and my estimate to date is that I’ve benefited to the tune of around £400k without taking into account the ongoing revenue opportunities that I’ve been putting in place. If you want to know anything else about Nicola and The Money Gym, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll expand more...... One of the main things I’ve gained is that financial independence can be achieved very quickly, you just need to identify the best route for you and I certainly have done!!!!"

"Well I've finally come to the end of my Money Gym coaching year and what a fast 12 months it's been!

I'd say I'm a pretty focused person but having just spent two days down in London recently on my final MG workshop, I was once again reminded how important it is to take time out the business and work on it not in it.

I'm a fairly savvy internet entrepreneur but talk about forgetting the value of your list... I've got one site with 18000 members and have I cross-marketed to
them?

Not yet but I will be doing now!!

Nicola and Judith were an inspiration as always and as ever, the amount of shared knowledge in the room was invaluable.

Here's to lots more passive income..... I love it!!"

"I’d like to tell you about a person I knew. Crushed by debts accrued without her knowledge, borrowing significant amounts on credit cards to keep her husband’s business going ‘until it turned the corner’, fighting to keep a roof over the family’s communal head, diagnosed with a fatal illness, mourning the loss of much-loved parents in quick succession, feeling duty-bound to use her inheritance to shore up her husband’s business and to sell the shares her father passed to her, she was emotionally exhausted.

Add to that a brave decision (she thought!) to dive off the ten-metre board in a desperate attempt to protect the family, she borrowed over £8,000 at 18% (oh, Money Gym'ers, be still your beating hearts!) in an attempt to set up an Internet business, “outcome guaranteed”, she was told at the presentation!

All this while working, looking after two children (almost single-handedly) and going into hospital for lumbar punctures to relieve raised intracranial pressure at five-weekly intervals! Then, to cap it all, she fell off a doormat (really!) and broke her ankle in two places. The company for whom she worked didn’t pay for sick leave. She had no income. But, believing in a greater benevolent power ‘out there’, this desperate person sent thoughts out to the Universe, asking for guidance and assistance to sort out the glorious mess she was in.

And the Universe answered . . .

She returned from work one Thursday evening in October 2005 and, in the late evening, checked her emails. Disbelief washed over her as she discovered she had won a ticket to the Wealth Creation Conference near Oxford. She didn’t work on Fridays, a real blessing as the Conference started the very next day! It was commutable, there would be no hotel bills, and she decided it might be the first stepping stone towards healing the wounds inflicted by Life’s events.

It was an amazing event, energising, hope-instilling, horizon broadening and such a treat to listen to presenters like Gill Fielding, the like of whom she had never encountered before!

The Money Gym session sounded intriguing and she went along. After listening to Judith Morgan and Nicola Cairncross, it seemed a terrific concept and she began to dream. (Oops, for a moment she forgot about the re-mortgage to settle the husband’s IVA.) Yep, she’d given away the equity in the house, too, thinking it would make everything whole again.

An X-Factor style contest was announced and everyone was invited to participate. After a moment’s hesitation (she decided it was likely to be the only ‘Barbara Streisand’ moment she would ever have), she felt some force rise within her and, somehow, was on her feet.

But participants were invited, not to sing, but to pitch for a year’s place at The Money Gym! The thought of revealing the awfulness of her situation was almost too much. She desperately wanted to sit down but thought it best not to add ‘coward’ to the growing list of adjectives she mentally used to describe herself.

When her turn came she left her seat and moved to face the Group. Terrified, ashamed and yet, in some way, strangely elated to be sharing the burden, she delivered a brief resume of her situation and sat down. It was so good to have actually vocalised the problems that were resonating deep within.

Margaret Collins, one of The Money Gym coaches, chose her to mentor! Disbelief, thankfulness, elation liberally sprinkled with fear of the unknown and doubts about her worthiness were fused in the moment.

And so began my Money Gym journey. Margaret saw the potential in me amidst the trailer load of ‘emotional and financial baggage’ I carried and has travelled with me through some unexpected and, yes, painful twists and turns. Margaret, I would like to pay public tribute to you for your patience, empathy, compassion, business knowledge and generosity of spirit.

I am strong, I am invincible and my time is NOW! I am no longer afraid of failure or, indeed, success!

I have managed to significantly reduce my personal borrowings and I have almost achieved financial integrity. My e-book on gastric banding is nearing completion and I have plans to produce an audio book on the same subject. I’m looking forward to attending The Money Gym seminar to expand my Internet knowledge and I am progressing with the Money Gym Internet Marketing Home Study System and have started playing the Cashflow game under Judith’s wonderfully observant and helpful eye!

And, finally, if I promise not to cry or overact, will you allow me a short BAFTA-esque ‘thank you’ speech?

My thanks go to The Money Gym for giving me this wonderful opportunity to work on my beliefs and limitations, to expand my business awareness and for opening up lanes of the Financial Highway to me.

Thanks also to everyone in The Money Gym community who offered me support and encouragement and helped develop my VA business by offering me project work (you know who you are!) and everyone who so generously shares their knowledge. I have read every message and saved all the tips and links for use as my knowledge expands.

The Money Gym is for EVERYONE. Okay, it may take a little longer to populate the four lanes of the Wealth Highway from a negative starting position but the chances are open to all.

My journey began so far behind the starter’s gun that it has taken a Money Gym year for me to arrive AT the starting line. But here I stand, strong, emotionally secure and confident that I will achieve my goals and so very much richer
emotionally, spiritually and materially for being offered the gift of Money Gym membership.

PS – In case anyone was wondering why I’m still here, I have also been given the gift of health. Thankfully, the ‘fatal’ diagnosis was incorrect and I am free to convert my dreams to reality!

UPDATE:

After clearing all my debts, I took over the Bristol Pod of the Cleaning Biz (www.TheCleaningBiz.com) last Friday so I'm on one lane (Business) of the Wealth Highway, thanks to Judith's idea.

I will be up to two (lanes) when I get the http://www.SwiftlySorted.com up there next week (already getting requests for assistance!) and then I will finalise the gastric banding ebook. My part-time contract has been extended to the end of June by which time I hope I'll be able to work for myself full time. I am just so grateful to everyone who has helped me turn things around.

It's my birthday today and so I have spent some quiet time this morning reflecting upon the last year and what has changed. And, you know what, I'm in such a different place. Never think the Money Gym places are not appreciated.

For me, at that time, my free place was literally a life line. Yep, there have been serious hurdles to overcome along the way but, here I am.  The Cleaning Biz pod came out of the blue. I only knew I could have it on the Tuesday and was
in London signing the paperwork on Friday, 25th May.

My thinking has moved from that of 'scarcity' to 'abundance'. I know it's all out there waiting for me to collect. None of this would have happened without the mentoring that has been so generously given."

"We have all made some good, supportive friendships through the Money Gym (Platinum) workshops, fuelled by common visions despite our different areas of expertise. We would not have made these without the workshops, and those who are not attending are really missing out. Each workshop is amazing and future-changing in its own right. Naturally we can only possibly get a taster in each special area, which is why there are other, longer courses available.

However, the amount of information that is concertina'd into one workshop demonstrates the true potential of each modality. We are given scope to take action, now, and also to expand our knowledge if we so wish. In addition, despite the quantity of information, we do not feel overloaded, partly because of the regular breaks, partly because of the informal atmosphere of the workshops.

The second day, when each person has time allocated for the whole group to brainstorm her (or his) ideas, is pivotal in making each workshop directly relevant to each person, and we all walk away with a specific action plan in mind - but with no pressure to carry it out if the time is not right for us now. I have also found it invaluable brainstorming other peoples' ideas - the whole day is useful, not just our own 20 minutes' worth. Thank you again to The Money Gym! Love and light"

"Last week was the second of my Money Gym (Platinum) seminars, and was an amazing experience again. I took my new (thanks to a generous friend, Mark) digi camera, and power-walked to the hotel each day, over Tower Bridge, with my iPod playing my favourite tunes, absorbing the atmosphere of London. What a fabulous start to the day!

The seminar was excellent, teaching us how to make money from the Internet. The most powerful experience for me was the power of brainstorming in a group. There was a cluster of intelligent, creative, knowledgeable women in the room, who together created 'mind maps' of potentially global businesses in 20 minutes!

It was also a time to re-connect with the coaches, Nicola and Judith, and the other clients. We had wonderful times eating, drinking and sharing our dreams and hopes for our futures, and it was incredibly positive. I shared my ideas for happy nurses, the 1 million members I want in 10 years, and got lots of ideas, and suggestions how to get from a blog to that vision. So my goals now are; 1.

Continue to write my blog twice a week 2. Write the content for my website in the next 2 weeks 3. Write my happy nurses manifesto in 2 weeks 4. Complete my e-book in 4 weeks 5. Have my website 'live' in 6 weeks.  Watch out, it's happening Happy Nurses!"

"A Million Happy Nurses"

Hi Nicola, Just thought you'd like to know I've taken the plunge and I am buying a new family home in Lewes, and I'm going to rent out my property in Brighton. A scary prospect for me as money is going to be tight for a while. I bounced my fears off to our very own (Money Gym Club member and property investor) Maria Davies and she came back with some wise words.

I've come a long way since we first made contact in July 2005, you told me then I could be financially free with a bit of work and bottle but at the time it was too new and I didn't have the b*lls to do it. Well, if this new deal all works out then we will own about £920K worth of property, two thirds of which is self- financing. If we can get through the short term cash flow issues then I'm hoping in a few years' time we should be "very comfortable". I hope the story is of interest. Happy Easter, Love,

Diane Lance, Money Gym Platinum Client

** Note From Nicola Cairncross: If property doubles in value, in the next 4-6 years, as predicted for the South East, Diane will make nearly a million pounds, without working for it, which she can use, tax free, to make her family more than comfortable! **

"I think you will be proud of me as I am in the middle of organising my property portfolio. (Since April 2003 and by the end of September 2003) I will then own 7 houses including my surgery. In total with my own house I will have property valued at approx £1.16M. I can't get my head round that yet and my wife pulled the covers over her head in bed when I told her! All these houses are already tenanted and could stand a small rise (in rent) immediately. The totals are well above the mortgage payments and there is great scope for capital growth."

Update: I've just bought another 12 ! I complete on those next week.

Mel R, Dentist

"I found that I have had bids accepted on two terraced houses and that I really had a taste for the whole thing, while XXXX (my daughter) is raring to get back up North and buy more. (It's frightening when you see your adolescent metamorphosing before your very eyes into a property magnate).

I have become a landlord and am starting to generate passive income. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined doing that. 2003 started as a very bloody year with an acrimonious divorce and a lot of personal devastation. It's been a roller coaster. At the end of it, I am an unequivocally jolly divorcee. And at 52 I look forward to what lies ahead. Nicola, I think you have set me free.. and it's the best place I've ever been.

Thank you

Update: I have just been interviewed by Channel 4 and the Express newspaper in connection with my new website and it's not even finished yet!"

"Sorry not to make our coaching call today; I am too busy doing it to talk about it! I am doing what we agreed on the last Sunday morning of the workshop, I have found a way to MYOB and Profit from my Passion in one. My enlightened colleagues on the Dream Team and I are putting together a program for 2004 in which we can share the enthusiasm we have for wealth creation and take what you have sparked in me to a wider audience. (As an accountant) my clients and colleagues have always looked to me for this information, now I have found a way to sell it and stop giving it away.

Having practiced Enlightenment from the get-go, albeit unwittingly, abundance is now coming to me in large chunks, on an almost daily basis. I can easily see an income next year of £350k (per annum). Businesses which have lain dormant and unloved for several years are being resuscitated and new ones started, and this time I know how to get them right.

I plan to be entirely virtual within 12 months so that I am free to do what I do best while overlooking the sea and basking in the sunshine. I am off to Boston, Chicago and Mexico investing in myself, but have passed up the opportunity for a Doodad holiday at Christmas. Phew! It's all go here, thanks to you."
